Marilyn...Still Here

There is a real difference between being dead, and being gone.  No person in our history explains this phenomenon better than the incomparable Marilyn Monroe. She died in 1962-over 50 years ago. But Marilyn Monroe is obviously not gone. She remains everywhere, from the West Village streets, to bookstores, to the 6th Avenue Subway, on 42nd Street. Marilyn Monroe still affects us all; I missed my train, so caught up was I in snapping pictures of her at 42nd Street. Ms. Monroe has endured long enough to be linked with One Dimension!  Such is the enduring allure of Ms. Monroe.
